- Our Head Coach will assess your current swim level to make sure you’re placed in the right session — where you’ll feel challenged, supported, and not overwhelmed.
- You’ll meet our swimmers and get a real feel for our coaching style
- You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and to find out if our program is the right fit for you
After the session, you’ll receive personalised feedback from our Head Coach, who will discuss whether our program is the right fit for you. If it’s a thumbs up, we’ll be in touch to guide you through the next steps and get you onboard.

Squad Training – Entry Level:
âś“ Competitive Pool based Sprinters
- All new sprinters are individually assessed by our Head Coach during the free Taster Session
- We run a Skills Development Session every Friday to help swimmers build the knowledge and confidence to compete in the pool
- Average FC Benchmark times for our sprinters:
- 50m FC: under :35
- 100m FC : under 1:17
- 200 FC under: 2:40
You’ll be assessed on your No.1 stroke at the Taster session, and sessions will be adapted to help you develop it further.
We don’t expect our breaststrokers to match the freestyle times of our freestylers — the same goes for our backstrokers and flyers. Every stroke has its own rhythm, strengths, and benchmarks. We train swimmers to excel in their chosen stroke — not to hit freestyle times that don’t reflect their race focus.
📝 We don’t expect you to swim like a pro or master all four strokes. What matters most is your potential and attitude to train.
- You’re not expected to match the pace of our experienced squad immediately
- Our Head Coach will assess your current level and guide your progression
- All pool-based swimmers should have a basic working knowledge of all four strokes and race skills
- Ongoing development is encouraged via regular Skills Sessions and Workshops
âś“ Open Water & Mid/Long Distance Swimmers:
- Must be able to swim 400m Freestyle holding a pace of sub-2:00 per 100m (in a 50m pool, no wetsuit).
- No turns required or any fancy underwater phase
- If you’re slightly off the pace, don’t worry — we’ll assess you at the Taster Session to see if with a little a bit more practice and guidance that you will be able to reach the speed of the rest of the group. We want you to train at a level that challenges you—but also sets you up to thrive and enjoy the journey —not feel overwhelmed.
